Your Employer's Process

Once your employer learns that you have suffered a workplace injury, your employer will meet with you and send you to a company-approved doctor, who may try to find ways to deny coverage, claiming that the injury was a pre-existing condition, that the injury did not occur in the workplace, or that the injury is not what you claim it is. Your employer will then bring in a lawyer, who will try to minimize or avoid your claim.

Our Process

When you hire us to handle your workers' compensation claim, we will start by getting all of your work records, medical records and insurance records. We will also advise you to go to a doctor of your choice and obtain an unbiased medical opinion. If the facts and evidence warrant the filing of a claim, we will take care of all the documents necessary to file and appear on your behalf at any hearings. As a part of the process, we will thoroughly investigate all aspects of your claim, so that we can protect your rights at any stage of the process.

While your claim is moving through the workman's comp process, which can take a year or more, we will handle any filings, review documents as required, and be your advocate in all proceedings. We may also pursue other remedies during this period, if necessary to protect your interests.
